Rooted in identity, StaxArts is derived from from my middle name, Stax. Linguistically, "stax" takes on the meaning of layers and abundance aligning with StaxArts goal to make fine art more plentiful and tangible in everyday life. Through the creation of the Stax Zine, StaxArts looks to highlight local and emerging artists through exposure and collaboration.

The STAX Zine aims bring rural based fine artists of all types into the hands of the viewer. Packed with art of all mediums, the STAX Zine is a gallery on the go; made to be shared, passed on, ran into by chance, or even to be put on a bookshelf to be stumbled upon later. Each zine is a snapshot in time, displaying the submissions each artist created and thoughtfully submitted.
